MEET THE TEAM

Kevin Cahill

Hello, I am Kevin Cahill, owner of Superior Welding & Fabrication. I was born and raised in SW Washington and have been here my entire life. My passion for welding started when I was in high school and has been a part of my life ever sense.

I became dedicated about opening my own business back in 2014 for a few different reasons. One being the need for another fabrication shop in the SW Washington and another was my desire to have a family-oriented work environment. Since starting my company on Oak Street, I have branched out and opened another shop on Hazel Street.

Watching my company grow steadily has been a pleasure that makes all the sacrifices worth it. On my spare time you can find me riding and taking care of my horses, hunting, maintaining my property and spending time with my family. Whether it’s rain or shine you can find me managing projects or getting down and dirty in the country.

Tim Cahill

Hi, my name is Tim Cahill and six years ago, in 2016, I started as a project manager at Superior Welding. I was born and raised in SW Washington and have lived here my entire life. In 2012 I worked as a welder and millwright at a metal roofing company in Oceanside CA for four years. I also worked in the logging industry for a total of 10 years.

I have three kids who are all grown adults now and one you may be familiar with, Kevin Cahill, owner of Superior. Welding and fabrication have been a part of my life for 30 years now. I started out with the motto “A pretty weld is only grinder away.” At the age of 64 I decided to go out on a limb, buy a horse and learn to ride. Now on my time off, you can find me around horses either putting food in one end or scooping up from the other.

Drake Hort

Hello, I’m Drake, I do the drafting and engineering here at Superior. I was born and raised in SW Washington, with family roots dating back to the early 20th century. I’ve been working with Superior for three years as of 2022, partially while going to school for my B.S. in mechanical engineering at Washington State University.

During my spare time, I usually wrench on my various project cars and go to shows during the dry season. I’m an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking and hunting. As an inquisitive tinkerer, I am often entertained by fixing or creating things of all kinds for differing purposes.
